Overview
Restrictions is a general category that includes things like mask mandates, business closures, social distancing mandates, vaccine passports, and other restrictions to freedoms or rights.
The problem with restrictions is that overall they haven’t made a significant positive difference. They have been mostly negative because they cause other problems while doing nothing to curb infections and particularly death rates. If restrictions worked, then the death rates in countries that had restrictions would be significantly lower. They’re not. In actuality, restrictions are slightly worse than not doing anything.
