What is it?

  • Getting out of breath easily.  e.g. 1/8th  of previous effort tolerance
  • Thousands of capillaries in the lungs are permanently damaged by micro-blood clotting.
  • Can be revealed by a D-Dimer test.
    • CT scans show distorted architecture – very nonspecific.
    • Regular tests cannot adequately capture microscopic blood clotting.
  • Can result in right-side heart failure within 3 yrs and causing death.
  • Increased vascular resistance in all tissues, which do not regenerate.
  • Identified by Dr. Charles Hoffe.
