PEG

PEG – Polyethylene Glycol

PEG is an additive used in the mRNA vaccine to protect the mRNA as it enters the human cell.  PEG, also called macrogel, is a lipid compound that acts as a solvent, thickener, solvent, softner, and moisture carrier in many common products including medications, toothpaste, shampoo, skincare, and laxatives.  PEG is an additive in both the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines.  It is possible to get a severe allergic reaction when PEG is present.  (further reading:  https://www.verywellhealth.com/peg-compound-in-covid-19-vaccine-5119161)
