Angelle Mosley couldn’t believe the diagnosis when she learned she had contracted COVID-19.
“She said ‘I know I do not have COVID. I still can smell and taste. And I am vaccinated.’ But when she got to the hospital, turns out she had it,” her mother Tara Mosley told WDSU-TV.
Three days later, the 33-year-old owner of Brave Beautique, a store selling fashions for plus-sized women, had died of the illness.
Mosley was initially diagnosed on Thursday and sent home from the hospital but needed to be readmitted over the weekend.
“Her neighbor brought her at 2 or 3 in the morning. She said, ‘They will keep me because I have pneumonia and a high fever,'” Tara Mosley said.
